In the present day world, there are people who are engulfed with various types of unbiased fears, the most common among them being flying fears. Do not recollect the graphic details of the crash that you saw on television, instead, try recollecting something that brings you joy. You can also try envisioning yourself at the destination enjoying with your friends and family. When happy memories cloud your mind, fear easily takes a setback.

You can carry things with you that make you feel comfortable. One of persons who I knew was easily prone to flying fears on just seeing a plane, forget getting on to it. He was scared that there would be a mishap mid air and he would fall to his death. Hence what he did, at his daughter's suggestion, was to carry a backpack with a parachute in it every time he had to travel by air. This not only relieved him of his anxiety but also brought a smile to his face. So, find ways in which you can conquer your fears rather than give in to it.

 

If you are obsessed with the fear of flying, then, do not continue feeding it by being ignorant. Ignorance is not always bliss. Make that effort to gain knowledge about how the aircrafts functions and how mishaps can be overcome. Stop watching programs that feed your fears.
